Paul Rodgers: 'Non cerco di prendere il posto di Freddie nei Queen'

I Queen + Paul Rodgers hanno appena pubblicato l'album "The cosmos rocks". Il disco è uscito in tutto il mondo (almeno ufficialmente) lo scorso 15 settembre e il cantante, ex Free e Bad Company, ha voluto puntualizzare che non è sua intenzione tentare di prendere il posto del grande assente. Rodgers (Middlesbrough, 17 dicembre 1949) ha detto: "Per come la vedo io, queste sono due forze diverse che si uniscono. Nessuno sta cercando di prendere il posto di Freddie, nessuno potrebbe farlo. E' stato un grande cantante, un grande performer e un grande compositore; non proverei mai ad imitarlo". I Queen + Paul Rodgers si esibiranno al PalaLottomatica di Roma il prossimo 26 settembre e al Forum di Assago (MI) due giorni dopo. www.rockol.it

Freddie ti ringrazio di esser esistito, grazie di esserci sempre nei momenti belli e specialmente in quelli brutti della mia vita... Ti porto sempre nel cuore, da quanto ho ascoltato la prima volta "Living on my own" all'epoca avevo 10 anni e da li è nata la grande passione per i Queen...
